Career
After Blue Hills, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from UMass Boston and my master’s in Curriculum and Teaching from Fitchburg State.
In 1998, I returned to Blue Hills as the Athletic Trainer and Wellness Coordinator. I added Physical Education teaching duties in 2007. By 2012, I was promoted to Lead Teacher of Physical Education, a role I still hold today.
How BHR prepared Jamie for what he is doing now:
My time at Blue Hills laid the foundation for everything I do today. Participating in sports, VICA, and Student Council instilled essential values like teamwork, leadership, and a strong work ethic, while my teachers inspired my passion for education. Having been connected to Blue Hills for most of my life, I am deeply proud to give back to the school that truly shaped who I am.
