AACE

Accelerated Articulated College Education

Accelerated Articulated College Education (AACE) - will give seniors at Blue Hills Regional Technical School the opportunity to take all of their classes at Massasoit Community College, earning them credits to complete their freshman year in college as well as fulfill the requirements to graduate from high school. Students who successfully complete the program can obtain their high school diploma and associate degree in five years - a significant savings in time.

It's like being in two places at once! Seniors who qualify for AACE will be able to maximize both their technical high school and postgraduate education. You'll earn college credit while completing your high school requirements.

Here's how it works: your high school vocational discipline will be matched with a similar discipline in your college studies. A Computer Technology student at Blue Hills Regional Technical School, for example, will enroll in Computer Technology courses at Massasoit Community College. If there is no matching discipline, AACE students will take business administration courses. Whatever your career goals, whether Culinary Arts, Applied Computer Science, Diesel Technology, or any other major offered at Massasoit Community College, AACE may be the right move for you.

AACE Students can participate in the activities and organizations of both school. You can still hold office, play sports and attend graduation with your senior class, for example. At the same time, you can enjoy the many extra-curricular clubs and cultural events at Massasoit Community College on year early.
